Where/How Touchscreen Technology is Used

 A touchscreen is a display that can recognize a touch to its surface area, either with a finger or a stylus. Touch screens are commonly used on cell phones, PDAs, ATM machines, video games and even supermarket terminals.

The Nintendo DS handheld video game system has two screens, were the lower screen has touch screen capabilities. Most of the games are played by using a stylus, allowing gamers to move characters, click on items, draw figures and move objects during gameplay, providing a very unique gaming experience.
 
 
 
AIRPLANES
 
Touchscreen devices are commonly used in modern airplanes.  They are used in airline jets inside the cockpit for more accurate and clear display of instruments and are most popularly ued for the entertainment system that every passenger has in front of then.  Also they can be used in private aircraft also for accurate and clear displays for the instruments.
